Join us in downtown Fuquay-Varina on April 13th for "Spring for the Arts," a special edition of our 2nd Friday "Art after Dark."  (Most events 5-8pm); See below for a list of events, and be sure to check back.  More events and locations may be added soon:  

Artist & Crafters Market 5-8pm- E. Vance St. Parking Lot behind “Pass It On”  View the work of local artists and crafters, meet the artists, and purchase their work. 

Also at the market:  

·         Community Mosaic Tile Project  5-8pm  Presented by “Tile Pro,” try your hand at some mosaic tiling as we create a community mosaic project together

·         Kids scrap art table – 5-8pm; E. Vance St. In honor of Earth Day, kids can make their own creations with reused/recycled scraps

Aviator Tap House   600 E. Broad St.  Live music at 8PM; FREE; local artwork on display– open until 1am

Artistic Expressions 118 Raleigh St  A variety of local artwork and crafts on display 5-9pm

Cooley’s Restaurant & Pub 711 N. Main St Local Artwork and Photography on Display by Melodie Estes and other local artists 5-9

 “Cruise In” Classic Car Show – 5-8pm; classic cars on display, music by the “Mayor of Mamers,” and a hula hoop contest (7pm); presented by F-V Downtown Revitalization Association

En Plein Air Painting Competition – 3-7pm; throughout downtown Fuquay and Varina – view local artists while they paint scenes from our downtown, then vote for your favorite.  Presented by Fuquay-Varina Downtown Revitalization Association.

Fuquay Varina Museum – 131 S. Fuquay Avenue; Photography and a visit by master photographer, Heulon Dean, Museum Tours; 3-8pm
