Artist Opportunities:

Wanted: Artists and crafters to set up booths INSIDE at the Fuquay Varina “Art after Dark” Artist and Crafters market on Friday, Feb 10th from 5-9pm, and at future "Art after Dark" events.

On Friday, Feb 10th, the Fuquay-Varina Arts Council will present "Art after Dark," our 2nd Friday art walk in Fuquay-Varina.  As part of this event, we will have an Artist and Crafters’ Market at the Mitchell Building at 101 S. Main Street in downtown Fuquay-Varina from 5-9pm. We are inviting local artists and crafters to come and set up a table to show and sell their work. In an effort to get this project off the ground, we have decided to provide this opportunity FREE to the artists and crafters at this time.

If you are interested in being involved, we just ask that you pre-register, so that we can be sure to have enough space for all of the artists involved. To pre-register, send an email to fvartscouncil@gmail.com with your name, address, phone #, email, and a web site link to your work, if you have one (a facebook or myspace page will be fine, and if you don't have one, that is okay too).  Please allow us two business days to respond to your registration request.

Below is a list of requirements to be involved:

All artwork must be locally made (in North Carolina)

The artist must be present to sell his or her work.

Individual spaces will be limited to 10x10

Artists/Crafters must bring their own tables, chairs, and other materials necessary for their display. We ask that you leave tents home for our inside market due to space restrictions.

Please feel free to pass this along to other artists and crafters, and thanks for supporting the arts in Fuquay-Varina.
